30 Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training
With Monica Campbell
Are you interested in deepening your yoga practice? Did you know Yoga Teacher Training is available to everyone even if you decide not to become a teacher? This training is for Yoga Practitioners who want to learn the tools and techniques to deepen their practice as well as Yoga Teachers who are interested in teaching Yin Yoga.
Yin Yoga is the opposite of Yang Yoga which is the more popular active Yoga practice people are familiar with. Yin Yoga is a passive practice targeting deep connective tissues of the body as opposed to engaging your muscles in Yang Yoga. Yin is a slower meditative practice where you will turn your attention inward, tune into your mind, and feel the sensations of the physical body. Poses are held for a minimum of three minutes and help release blocked energy channels within the body. At the conclusion of this training, you will be able to practice Yin Yoga on your own when you cannot make it to class. If you are a Yoga Teacher, this training will provide you the skills and knowledge to teach a Yin Yoga class and earn CEUs through Yoga Alliance.
